    Class Act

This magazine is a class act all the way. Everything about each issue is professional from the ads to the articles. Everything I have ever read in this magazine has brought me information as well as tips on how to do certain projects. I love their approach to innovative sewing techniques and find that each issue has something to spark my creativity. The authors are experts in their fields. You will find articles by Claire Schaeffer, Roberta Carr, & Lois Erickson just to name a few.

The tips column is another excellent feature. All the ladies who write in have an inventive idea on how to make your sewing time easier. I also like the fact...

    Cutting Edge magazine

Thread Magazine is on the cutting edge of technology, home sewing fashion, sewing skills. I enjoy reading this magazine as I learn a lot with every issue, especially things that no home-ec teacher ever thought of teaching back in the 60's! As someone who is basically a self taught seamstress, I appreciate a resource that teaches me the how to's of finer sewing. One garment will be presented in many different ways. New ways of embellishing are shown. Sewing and fitting questions are answered.

My favorite part of the magazine are articles on getting the most from your sewing machine, especially the computerized ones. The latest issue had an article...

    Fabulous Fashion

As THE trade magazine for sewing professionals, Threads has never disappointed this reviewer. Each issue is loaded with "eye candy" photographs of the newest techniques, fashion trends and fabrics. There are educational articles that enable readers to improve on their skills and branch out into new interests, such as tips for working with unusual fibers, new uses for serging machines, pattern-fitting techniques. There are also regular features in each month's issue, my favorite of which is "Delicious Details," which shows and discusses attractive and unusual accessories on garments, many of which are from vintage clothing. Threads also...
