I sent away for a free sample issue of Crafts' n Things and from the moment it came I was hooked. I made nearly every Christmas ornament in the magazine! I have been a subscriber now for two years and haunt my mailbox when it is close to the time for it to arrive!
I am a long time crafter - but I really like simple, straight forward instructions. The pictures are very helpful and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
I love making angels and this magazine always comes up with some new idea or pattern for 'my angels'. I am constantly amazed at the innovative things they include for using flowerpots!. The outdoor turtle was adorable and easy to make!
When I go to the craft store, I take my issue of Crafts' n Things to buy the materials I need. The materials are listed at the top of each article and that saves me from having to make a separate list.
Some of the projects are not as interesting to me as others, but I look at them and as I'm reading about them, I get excited to try them... so it's back to the craft store!
I really feel this magazine is good for young and old (and in between), and for beginners and experts!

I love this magazine. It can be useful to all levels of crafting from beginner to expert skill . They can give idea's for holidays and gift giving. The instructions given with each project are easy to understand. They also show a picture for each craft. All magazines are expensive ,but this one is well worth the price. I keep all of these issues and go back once in a while to get craft ideas. I have a subscription to this magazine ,that saves a few dollars off the news stand price. The only problem I can think of is that it doesn't often enough , I can't get enough.

I have been purchasing Crafts and Things for 3 years now and i love it !!
I have a Home Craft business and i found many bestsellers for my yearly Bazaars in this magazine ! They have the newest updates on new products, including info where to purchase them and also feature a help section if you need to find a product. They have single page patterns which are very easy to use and very detailed instructions for any crafter, beginner or advanced. They also feature a section with different advertisements, for example for Doll makers or Rubber Stampers. If you are a crafter and you are looking for patterns that are easy and detailed, this is it !!
There is also Crafts magazine, which features many great ideas , but in my opinion the pattern section is easier in Crafts and Things. If you are a beginner who loves to save money and craft try it , you will love it. Start making those Birthday and Christmas gifts now, you will enjoy it and save money at the same time :0).Surprise your Valentines with a handmade gift they can enjoy !

This Crafts n' Things magazine was something that I most recently picked up and discovered why some many have recommended to me. From page one to the end it gives you ways to make various types of crafts and to spice up some old stuff that you might have at home.
The ideas are great with individuality that a lot of magazines don't have. The craft ideas are unique and very easy to make for adults. Some of the ideas can even be used to amuse your child or children. They have great ideas for different holidays, parties, or any occasion that might require you to decorate.
Even though this magazine has great ideas and information for the crafter, it doesn't seem to be long enough. They also have stories of different crafters and their ideas. This magazine is a great resource for new crafters and those pioneer crafters. I can't explain to much because it differs so much each issue and it just keeps me wanting to find out what is in store for the next issue.
For any holiday, party, or special occasion, check this magazine out and I guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. This magazine is very inexpensive and gets you the information and ideas that will save you money and make you money at the same time if you are into making crafts.
This magazine is definitely a must see to totally appreciate all the things that it offers.

This magazine is the best out there for crafters.
There are all different kinds of crafts in each issue. Every crafter will be able to find something they enjoy doing. Example in the latest issue(July) there is even some Christmas projects. What a nice change. I, for one, like to work on Christmas projects all year long!
Each craft is explained nicely with the skill level, time taken to do the craft, and a complete listing of materials needed to complete the project. And one of my favorite things about this magazine is the full size patterns printed on one side of the page only! That is a big plus.
Also, at the back of each issue you will find articles titled "Crafting 101" which is tips to make crafting easier, "The Bookshelf", which reviews the latest books on different crafts, and "Stitches 'n Stuff" which lists different businesses that may have what you are looking for!
I highly recommend this book to all my friends, and have even given it as Christmas presents. Keep up the good work Crafts 'N Things.

I just love this craft magazine.............I have been a faithful subscriber for many years. I can't wait for the end of each month for a new magazine to be delivered.
The magazine is always loaded with great craft ideas............from simple craft projects to the more advanced projects. They have great step by step directions.............and the patterns are one to a page............this way you don't have to cut up any other patterns that may have been on the back.
I used to subscribe or buy alot of other craft magazines............now I only buy Crafts N Things............it's really the only one you'll ever need!!
I have made several craft projects...........they always come out great!! Family and friends just love the finished projects! My favorite time for crafting is, of course, Christmas.............and you can always find great projects.............from simple ornaments to their more advanced Holiday greeters...........(Mr & Mrs Santa) made out of tomato cages.............which is a project out of an old edition.
They also have a great website where you can get old back issues, or you can even download project instructions on line.................so if you're into crafting.....................don't forget to pick up the latest edition of Crafts N Things magazine.

I have been a subscriber to this magazine for almost twenty years. Each issue is packed with new crafting ideas. One of their best features are full sized patterns. This saves you from having to try to enlarge the pattern. Directions are always clear and concise. I find at least one craft in each issue that I can't wait to make. I also like the fact that readers are allowed to contribute patterns to be published. If I was asked what I least liked about the magazine, I would have to say that I don't like the memory album projects. I feel that those should be in a magazine all their own.

I have purchased this magazine many years. I find it informative, chock full of ideas and useful hints in any craft. I especially enjoy the special seasons issues. I do and would recommend this magazine to any serious crafter. I find this magazine far superior to other craft mags that I sometimes buy. Never have seen an article that I didn't enjoy. I find that each issue gives you ideas of what can be done with simple projects, that cost very little and are the most enhancing feature of a holiday that you may be trying to get ideas for. They cater to all kinds of crafts and don't limit their scope to just one thing. I find they have less advertising and more projects

I enjoyed Craft and things because it was easy to read, complete information on items. All patterns where easy to understand and the
ideas where new. A lot of the ideas where inexpensive and had lots
of them. This is absolutely a magazine that my friends and I will
enjoy and use just about day to day. The pages are easy to follow
as well as directions. It is nice to find craft ideas that aren't
expensive and that do not take a long period to complete. Also I
enjoy the craft ideas that you can involve my children with and
do not require a big mess to get them done. In this magazine
there is always neat holiday ideas.

I love this magazine because of the many varieties of crafts from beginner's to an intermediate level of craft projects. I keep my past issues of the magazines so I can go back before a holiday and find something to make for that season. I will continue to buy this magazine for many years. I haven't made anything out of this month's magazine yet because I have been so busy. I will be looking at the Thanksgiving and Christmas projects from the last two years so I can find a project to do.This is an exciting magazine that has continually grown in the past five years because so many people enjoy doing crafts. I liked the last month's issue with the pumpkins on it and you can make them into snowmen also.I am going to try that sometime in October.
