I love this magazine. I think it is probably really good even if you don't live in the west. Great garden ideas, good recipes, great travel recommendations. The best thing about it is that most of the articles, whether garden how-to type things, cooking, or ideas for a long weekend, are all very practical...do-able, not terribly expensive. A lot of it is available on-line, but I like having the magazine there in front of me for some reason.

Who in Southern Calif. can live without Sunset magazine?? The garden ideas are great, the menus are classic, and the vacation advice is always great.

Sunset is one of those magazines that has something for everyone. I enjoy the gardening section and my wife enjoys the food section. When we are done, we leave the magazine in our guestroom where it gets thumbed thru a few times. The articles are in depth and the strength of the magazine in my opinion are the pictures. This is not the most in depth magazine but it is well done and enjoyable to read.

When living in Oregon, I couldn't wait for the Sunset to come .
Now I am living in Southern CA. in the desert and I still love
the magazine, but, wish there were more articles on gardens here.
I always pass my Sunsets on to friends and family.

I bought this subscription for my mom for Christmas. What I love about it is its a gift that goes all year long. Shes always bought Sunset here and there but now its delivered to her home every month. Whats even more nice is that she tries all the great recipes and I reap the benefits!

I've subscribed to Sunset for years because I love the California lifestyle articles on gardening, building and dining. I dropped the subscription for awhile and missed it, so I renewed. Now my daughter lives in northern California and I can relate to the vacation and travel articles, too.

This magazine was a Christmas present for my wife, and she looks forward to getting every issue. I would recommend for yourself, or as a gift.

This is a great magazine for the West! Terrific recipes, decorating ideas and getaways. I truly look forward to receiving my issues!

This informative magazine contains articles that talk about places to visit (that even locals don't know about that are close to home), home and gardening ideas that are appropriate to the area, and some great recipes. I enjoy reading it every month!

A great magazine with travel, food and gardening advice and commentary devoted to the western United States. Inexpensive, unpretentious, quality.
